Thanks to a tweet from Pieter Levels I learned that StackOverflow Jobs was shutting down and a bunch of people were asking about alternatives to it, so the idea came to my mind and right away I registered stackoverflowjobsalternatives.com

How did you find your first customers?

Thanks to Twitter. After some months of curating job boards and founders reaching out to get added Pieter Levels suggested me to start charging for listing upgrades and I also decided to include 3 sponsored slots. I tweeted about it and right away a job board founder replied saying he wanted a slot :)
